Ordinary examiners were professor dr. Jesse Mugambi, Nairobi (1) and associate professor dr. Kari Storstein Haug, Stavanger (2). Professor em. dr. Leif Gunnar Engedal is the third member of the examination committee. The public defense was chaired by rector Vidar L. Haanes.
