Bachelor in Theology, Religion and Society 
General admission requirements are described on the GSU-list. Applicants have to meet the general admission requirements (except proficiency in Norwegian) in order to be eligible for admission.​
Applicants who meet the minimum admission requirements will be ranked according to their level of written English proficiency. Your chances to be admitted will depend on your level of English proficiency. All applicants must document their proficiency in English. Please see English profiency. 

Master in History of Religions
A bachelor's degree or a period of study comparable with a Norwegian Bachelor's degree from a recognized Higher Education institution: The degree must be in disciplines related to the master's programme (history, religious studies, theology, archaeology, art history, etc) with an average grade equivalent to Norwegian C level (British Second class, upper division). General admission requirements (except proficiency in Norwegian). 
Applicants who complete a bachelor degree before July 1st can apply, but the application will not be considered before the completed degree is documented with diploma and transcript of records. 
All applicants must document their proficiency in English. Please see English profiency. 

Master in Religion in Contemporary Society (based on a revision of Master in Religion, Socety and Global Issues)
A Bachelor’s degree or a period of study comparable with a Norwegian Bachelor's degree from a recognized Higher Education institution. The degree must have a combination of relevant social sciences and religious studies: A minimum of 80 ECTS credits including specialisation in one subject area, and a minimum of 20 ECTS credits in the other subject area and an average grade equivalent to Norwegian C level (British Second class, upper division). Applicants who complete a bachelor degree before July 1st can apply, but the application will not be considered before the completed degree is documented with diploma and transcript of records.

Master in Theology
A Bachelor's degree (or a period of study comparable with a Norwegian Bachelor's degree from a recognized Higher Education institution) in Theology or Religious Studies, with an average grade equivalent to Norwegian C level (British Second class, upper division). A minimum of 80 ECTS must be in Christian theology. General admission requirements (except proficiency in Norwegian). Applicants who complete a bachelor degree before July 1st can apply, but the application will not be considered before the completed degree is documented with a diploma and transcript of records.
