MF CASR Lunch with Lena Liepe

In this talk, Lena Liepe will present her newly published book on relics in medieval Scandinavia. Based on a survey of what remains both of relics as such, their containers, and written evidence for the existence of lost relics and the use of relics in liturgy and devotion, Liepe will highlight the veneration of relics as a phenomenon of major importance for medieval lay religiosity.
