Regulations and Legislation

Issues related to exams are regulated in the Regulations for Admission, Studies and Examination at MF Norwegian School of Theology, Religion and Society. Below you can find the Regulations, as well as other formal documents.

 

  1. The Regulations
    The Regulations (here in Norwegian - for English translation, please see the documents below) govern many important aspects such as right to study, exams, diplomas et.c.
  2. Supplementary Regulations for Examinations at MF Norwegian School of Theology, Religion and Society (pdf)
    The supplementary Regulations deal with aspects not mentioned in the more general Regulations.

    Candidates for written exam are expected to familiarise themselves with this document
  4. Grading of exams at MF
    This document presents what is expected from exam answers.
  5. Formal guidelines for writing assignments at MF (pdf)
    This document deals in particular with how to refer to sources in hand-ins, home exams, essays et.c. See the pages Cheating and Exam submissions and home exams for more information.
     

Exam Registration
You can read more about semester registration here. After approving the education plan it is important that you double check that you have been registered for exams in the correct courses. You can do this in the StudentWeb tab «My active courses». Contact the student administration if you discover any errors.

Exam Language
The exam answer should normally be in English or Norwegian, according to the language of instruction. The course description states what language is used.
