Devotional and Worship Gatherings
On all week days there is devotional or worship in the chapel on the first floor at 10:00 am.
These gatherings are MF’s fixed pulse. The gatherings are 15 minutes long and are lead by students, teachers, and the student priests.
The gatherings can vary greatly in type, form and language. Just like the students and the employees at MF come from many different traditions, we will also have it that the gatherings in the chapel will be characterized by such diversity. We hope that everyone will find something that is familiar and dear to them, but also something that is new and challenging. We believe that such a mixture is enriching and opens our eyes to the richness of the church’s various traditions.
If you would like to see exactly what kinds of gatherings that are going to be in the chapel this semester, you can find and overview of this on intranet. Every week they also put up posters about the week’s meetings in the chapel.
Want to join?
The student priests work with adaptation of the devotional and worship life at MF. One of our goals is that the most people possible will put their mark on the gatherings in chapel and experience the gatherings as an oasis in their everyday life. Therefore it is great if you will be involved in one way or another, either by holding a devotion, participate in musical contributions, play for songs, come with good ideas or something similar.
If you can see yourself participating, send an email to the student priests. We are thankful for all inquiries.
See you in chapel!
