Theology, Religion, and Society

The Bachelor in Theology, Religion and Society program aims to give you a thorough education in the theological disciplines and contemporary issues related to theology, society, and religion.

Beginning with a foundation of introductory courses, the programme offers a solid understanding of Biblical Studies, Systematic Theology, Church History and Practical Theology. The program builds upon this foundation with intermediate courses in theology and biblical studies, and addresses a wide range of issues from theological, missiological and sociological perspectives, allowing you to develop a deeper knowledge of the Bible and theology in relation to contemporary society.

Religion, Culture and Society

This programme offers three programme options that the student can choose from:

  • Christianity, Religion and Ethics
  • Social Sciences
  • Religion and Society

Religion and society influence one another. This programme provide insights into both areas. Through knowledge of religion and culture, we can understand how a society works and what values it builds upon. However, religion is also shaped by the surrounding society and culture. The social sciences offer perspectives that deepen the understanding of religion, traditions, and values.
