Seminar "I met Jesus"
Welcome to a seminar at MF with the topic: “I met Jesus” - salvation in a secular age.
NB: The seminar will in Norwegian language - translation into English will be given for some sessions.
Charlotte Rørth, a non believing journalist, says she unexpectedly met Jesus in Spain in 2009. The bible tells us that the same thing happened with the fanatical Jesus opponent Paul in Damascus in the year 33.
Is there a connection?
Paul lived in a age where people knew God and expected him to control the history. Rørth lives in a age where people expects God - probably - not to exist.
What significance does the context have for reflection and the communication of the meeting with Jesus? Can the religions psychology contribute to shed light over these experiences?
