MF's Myklebust lecture in mission's studies
The Missiological Forum invites to a conference about mission:
The impact of Christianity in the World
In collaboration with MF's Myklebust Lecture.
Philip Jenkins is known for his research and publications about the Christianity situation in the world today. He is a professor of history at Baylor University in the USA. In a special way he tells about the Christianity transition from a Western to a global religion and which changes Christianity has undergone so far. He is also concerned about what this could mean for the church in Europe. In the book God's Continent he asks if the Christian church in Europe is doomed to collapse under the influence of globalization, secularization and the flow of Muslim migrants. Among his most famous books are: The New Faces of Christianity and The Next Christendom.
