The topic of the thesis is:

Emotion regulation strategies and future prospects among Jehova’s Witnesses:
A qualitative study of Norwegian members of an end-time focused religious group.

Ordinary examiners will be professor dr. Sebastian Murken, Marburg (1), and professor dr. Valerie DeMarinis, Uppsala (2). Professor dr. Jan-Olav Henriksen is the third member of the examination committee. The public defense will be chaired by rector Vidar L. Haanes.

Digital event
The trial lecture and the public defense will be in English and will be held digitally because of the corona-virus. The public defense will be held on Zoom.

The Zoom-webinar will be open from 11:30. The defense will start at 12:15.

Ex auditorio-questions
The chair of defense will invite to ex auditorio-questions as normal.
This is possible in Zoom by writing in the chat.

All requests are to be given 5 minutes before the set time for the start of the second and concluding examination. The moderator of the defense admits questions. The regulations specify that this is to be relatively short and precise/pointed questions to the PhD thesis under discussion or to aspects of it.
