Students at universities in the Nordic countries which do not have a Nordplus network partner at MF may still be eligible to apply through the Nordlys network.

How to apply
You must apply through your home institution, so first contact your Nordplus coordinator. After nomination by your home institution, you must fill in the Nordplus Application form.
If you apply through the Nordplus programme, the application form must be sent by your Nordplus coordinator directly to the faculty or department with which your institution has an agreement.
If you apply through the Nordlys network, your application must be sent by your Nordlys coordinator to the International Office, MF.

The application form must be at MF before:
•    1 May for the autumn semester (August - December)
•    1 November for the Spring semester (January - June)
To ensure that admitted students have enough time to prepare for their exchange, we recommend that the applications are sent 2-4 weeks before these deadlines.

After admission

Letters of Admission will be sent out in the beginning of each semester. Student housing must also be booked before 1. November for the spring semester and 1. June for the autumn semester. Students who follow the directions are guaranteed housing in one of the student residences. See student housing

The spring semester usually starts in the second week of January and ends in the third week of June. The autumn semester usually starts in the middle of August and ends in the third week of December. Bilateral students should arrive in Oslo at least one week prior to the start of a semester to ensure that they will be present for the Orientation Week for new students.
