The one-year programme in Intercultural Communication focuses on the relationship between various cultures and how to understand each other across cultural barriers.


Language of instruction


Due to increased mobility, technological development, and the need to express ourselves across cultures, insight into intercultural communication is crucial. Our age is categories by challenges that are global in nature. This is especially true with regard to human rights, democracy, and philosophy. Intercultural work is becoming an important basis within several professional areas.

Deeper insight into cultural diversity
This programme is relevant to anyone who desires a deeper understanding of the cultural diversity we live in, and the forces that have formed modern society. This programme is particularly relevant to those who desire to work with people of different cultural backgrounds than their own, either in Norway or in another country.
