Research School at Lesbos
36 PhD-Students and lecturers gathered at Lesbos as a part of The National Research School RVS
In the beginning of August The National Research School RVS (Religion, Values and Society) gathered at the Metochi study center to discuss theory and theorizing in empirical research projects. 36 PhD-students and researchers participated. The gathering took place in a former monastery at Lesbos.
– In spite of almost 40 degrees during daytime, the course got a lot of positive feedback, says Trine Anker, associate Professor at MF.
The students chose a subject for a longer period of time during lectures, presentations of their own projects and a lot of informal discussions.
– The purpose was for everyone to get a sted forward using theory in their PhD-projects. The course seemed to work as planned for most of them.
