Matthew Monger will give the trial lecture and his public defense for the degree of PhD Monday 5 March.
Matthew Monger will give the trial lecture for the degree of PhD Monday 5 March 2018 10:15 a.m. on the given topic:
"An account and evaluation of one or all of the mss that used to be labelled 'Pseudo-Jubilees'. How do they (re-)shape thinking about Hebrew Jubilees, and possibly other texts?"
Monday 5 March 2018 12:15 p.m. will start the public defense by the doctoral candidate of the thesis:
”4Q216: Rethinking Jubilees in the First Century BCE."
Ordinary examiners will be professor dr. Loren T. Stuckenbruck, München (1) and professor dr. Charlotte Hempel, Birmingham (2). Professor dr. Kristin Joachimsen is the third member of the examination committee.
The public defense will be chaired by rector Vidar L. Haanes.
